Grounds MaintenanceMany hands make light work—and a place that looks cared for.
From mowing and weeding to seasonal cleanup, the Grounds Maintenance Team helps keep the outside of Grace looking like a place people want to walk into. Our property is a great gift and often the first impression people have of our church — we serve by caring for it well. No special skills needed, just a willingness to show up and pitch in.
“Being good stewards of God’s gift, our property is important. We can thank and serve God through caring for our gift. Worn-down property makes a bad impression, and is less inviting. Having a clean, well-kept campus, from the curbs to the front door, helps make GLC feel more welcoming.”

Building MaintenanceTaking care of the house God gave us.
Things come up—a repair here, a project there—and the Building Maintenance Team is there to help keep our building safe, welcoming, and in good shape for everyone who walks through its doors. You don’t have to be a handyman or have a particular skill to be part of the team. There are jobs big and small, and opportunities for people with all kinds of abilities and interests. Whatever the task, there’s a place for whoever wants to help care for the church we call home.
Special EventsThe hands that set the space for community to come to life.
Special Events Ministry helps bring Grace’s church-wide events to life. From setting up tables and chairs and creating welcoming decor to helping in the kitchen and cleaning up afterward, this team takes care of the behind-the-scenes details that help each event run smoothly. Whether it’s a celebration, fellowship gathering or special church event, volunteers use their gifts, creativity, and willingness to serve to create spaces where everyone feels welcome and can enjoy being together.
FinanceFor those who love numbers and want their gift to matter.
The Finance Ministry Team (FMT) serves the Board and the congregation by reviewing financial reports, researching ways to save money and lower costs, and recommending the annual Spend Plan. The team also stays on top of compliance updates at the federal and state level and helps communicate Grace’s financial health to the congregation. If you’ve got a head for numbers and a heart for stewardship, finance is where that gift meets real purpose — helping make sure Grace’s resources are cared for as faithfully as everything else here.
