Grace BandFor those who love Jesus and feel called to serve through song.
Grace Band leads worship in song each week, offering their gifts to serve the congregation Sunday after Sunday. Musicians and singers both, if you’ve got the gift and the heart for it, there’s a place for you here.
“I know this ministry matters each time I hear our vocalists sing, our musicians play, and experience our sharing together the ups and downs, the joys and struggles, the tears and the laughter of life. We are also collectively touched when we hear the congregation singing along, when someone comes up to us in tears after a service telling us how much a particular song meant to them, or when we sense the Spirit of God moving in the stillness of a quiet piece of music.”

Grace Choir leads the early service in song, complementing the week’s gospel message through music and song. We rehearse together during the week, then sing it out Sunday morning.
“I will never forget the moment that I saw and heard everyone in the congregation singing. Even those who had told me they “can’t sing” were talking the words. That truly was a joyful noise!”
Spanish WorshipWorship in the language that feels like home.
Spanish Worship is one of Grace’s four weekly services. We are a community where everyone is welcomed, valued, and loved, believing that God’s limitless grace is for everyone, without exception.
You belong here. You are welcome. This is your home. We gather around the Word of God, prayer, music, and Holy Communion, celebrating our Latino cultures and traditions through celebrations such as Las Posadas, Día de los Muertos, and Holy Week, while supporting one another through prayer, pastoral care, and community support.
“Someone said to me after one of our Spanish worship gatherings, ‘This is great because I feel closer to my community and I feel more comfortable.’ I haven’t forgotten those words. In that moment, I realized that this ministry is about so much more than language—we worship Jesus in ways that remind us of our home, while also discovering what it means to follow Him here, in the place God has planted us.”

Handbell ChoirsMaking music, and looking out for each other, one ring at a time.
From second grade through well past retirement, ringers gather in age-based groups to make music together. Some come for the sound. A lot of them stay for the people standing next to them.
“A time I knew this ministry mattered was when a young adult shared how much they enjoyed learning about music as a young child in the handbell program, and how it gave them the confidence to play a key role in their high school music and theater departments. Another time I knew this ministry mattered was when after we played an emotional piece of music during worship, the congregation was in complete silence, a clear indicator that they were deeply moved by the message conveyed by our music.”
Rehearsal Groups
- Children (grades 2-8) — Monday evenings

Children’s ChoirLittle voices, big joy.
Children’s Choir is open to any child in kindergarten through 5th grade. We keep it simple. Come sing, have fun, and don’t worry about how you sound. Kids build real confidence and real friendships here, and once a month, they get to share that joy with the whole congregation.
“There is something special about hearing kids sing together — the raw joy they bring to the congregation, the smiles they spread to others, and the confidence and growth they experience as a choir. It’s encouraging, and it brings light to everyone. This is what makes this ministry meaningful to me.”
Altar GuildThe quiet work that makes worship possible.
Altar Guild prepares and helps serve holy communion more than 110 times each year, helping every person at Grace, from lifelong members to first-time visitors, remember and celebrate Jesus’ love and sacrifice.
“The blessing of holy communion is such an important part of worship. Whether it is a long-time parishioner, a young child, or a newcomer partaking of the sacrament, the reverence with which it is received is remarkable. Being able to ‘prepare the table’ is truly a blessing.”

Communion & Worship ReadersYour voice, reading God’s word out loud for the room.
This ministry reads scripture and assists with communion each week, a small role with a real weight to it: putting words to the story the whole congregation is there to hear.

Welcome TeamThe friendly faces of Sunday morning.
At the Welcome Center, visitors and members find helpful answers, information about ministries and upcoming events, and a point in the right direction. Our ushers carry that same spirit from the front door into the sanctuary, helping people find a seat and keeping worship running smoothly behind the scenes. Together, this team is often the very first interaction someone has with Grace.

AV & Tech TeamKeeping the lights (and the audio, and the visuals) on, every service, without fail.
Sound that doesn’t cut out. Captions that actually show up. In-room sound, assisted listening systems, multilingual materials, this team makes sure everyone can experience worship in the way that works for them, whether they’re in the room or watching online. It’s not flashy work. It’s just necessary.
“Every time someone comments on one of our YouTube videos or mentions that they use our assisted listening systems, I feel like our job is worth it. In contrast, ever since I was a volunteer in the tech program, I have noticed a world of difference in quality it makes when more people are invested in helping make our services more engaging and interactive.”
