Welcome
We believe in discipling youth by walking beside them in all aspects
of their lives. Retreats and missions are avenues to grow in knowledge,
sharing real life experiences of God at work in and through others.
Monthly fellowship events add fun and excitement to our lives together
and provide youth with opportunities to celebrate the life that God has
given us. Through weekly study we grow spiritually and intellectually.
Ultimately, the youth program at GLC is a place for youth to
experience God through many different avenues of events and

Summer Mission Team
The Youth Program at Grace has a long-standing commitment to summer
missions, with opportunities to serve in Mexico. The program is a
year-long commitment that involves working, playing and studying with
your fellow mission team members. Our next scheduled trip will be in June 2024.
Retreats
Our Youth Program includes a variety of retreat experiences for kids
ages 7th-12th grades. Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer…. we make the most of
the wonderful outdoors here in the northwest for our retreat weekends!
Some of the retreat sites we visit regularly include Black Lake, Lake
Kachess and Camp Lutherhaven. With opportunities to study, worship, and
play on retreats, all youth have the chance to grow in their own faith
and fellowship with one another.
Fellowship
Watch the Youth Calendar in the Messenger and on this website for monthly activities for all junior and
senior high kids! From bus lock-ins to movie nights, there are always
opportunities for youth to gather together and share in the fun. These
monthly events are a great time to bring a friend — they are always
welcome.
Education
Sunday mornings are all about education at GLC! Youth in grades 7-12 meet @ 9:45 am to study the Bible and what it means to our lives today.
Midweek opportunities for study include:
Grades 7-9 meet with the pastors for Confirmation Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 7:30 pm
Grades 10-12 get together for a weekly small group time on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Grace Plus Fund
This scholarship fund provides financial assistance to college bound
students who are members of Grace Lutheran Church. Pacific Lutheran
University has a matching program that includes your first year of study. This is a great opportunity to stretch your dollars for a quality education even more!
